The Project
The project is a website for Corvane Fitness Studio, a small-group strength and conditioning studio in Longfellow. Fitness studios compete with big-box gyms, boutique chains and free workout apps. What a small studio can offer is coaching and community, but only if the website gets someone in the door for a first class.
This design is built around that single step, the free intro class, with the class schedule one tap away for people deciding when they could actually go.
The Goals
- Get people to book a free intro class. One main call to action, repeated in the nav, the hero and a sticky mobile bar.
- Show the schedule up front. Today's classes on the homepage, with the full weekly schedule on its own page.
- Feel welcoming to beginners. Bold, energetic design paired with copy that makes clear every level is welcome.
- Explain how it works. Coaching, beginner options and membership choices in plain language.
- Rank for neighborhood searches. Searches like "strength classes Longfellow" and "gym near Minnehaha."
Package Fit
Package: Website in a Week, $2,200, plus one extra page for the class schedule at $500. Total: $2,700.
A studio that wants to launch fast, ideally before the New Year rush, fits Website in a Week. It includes a 1-hour brainstorm, a layout template, standard SEO optimizations, mobile responsiveness, social media integration, a contact form, photo sourcing, 2 rounds of revisions, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile setup. The class schedule gets its own page because it's the second-most important thing on the site.

Design Approach
Colors: Near-black (#0F0F10) and charcoal (#1D1E21) backgrounds, electric lime (#C6F432) for every action and highlight, a coral accent (#FF6B4A) for small dividers, and soft gray (#B9BBC0) for body text.
Type: Bebas Neue, a tall condensed headline face that reads like gym signage, paired with Inter for body text and the schedule.
Layout: A huge two-line headline ("Stronger every week.") sits over subtle diagonal stripes. A "Today's classes" card on the right lists times with Book buttons. Below, three numbered points explain coaching, beginner options and memberships. On phones, the headline, booking button and schedule card stack in that order, with a lime "Book a Free Class" bar pinned to the bottom.

Key pages:

- Classes
- Schedule (extra page)
- Pricing and Memberships
- Coaches
- Contact and Free Intro Class
What We Built
- Mobile responsive layout: A full-width sticky "Book a Free Class" bar on phones.

- Free intro class form: Name, email, phone, preferred class time, and an optional "anything we should know?" field. Or every Book button can link to the studio's existing class-booking software instead.

- Class schedule page: A weekly schedule in real text, easy to read on a phone and easy for the studio to update.

ExerciseGym type, the specific LocalBusiness subtype for gyms and studios (Google Search Central).
6. Google Business Profile setup: Categories, class hours, a booking link and a description that match the site.
7. Social integration: Instagram and Facebook links for class clips and studio updates.
8. Google Analytics: Tracking for intro-class bookings and schedule views.
Sample structured data (the street address and final hours are filled in at launch):

Process Timeline
Website in a Week means a launch-ready site in 7 days. The prep happens first, so the week itself is a focused build:
- Before the week: consult, brainstorm and content. A free 30-minute consultation, a quote within 24 hours, then the 1-hour brainstorm and collecting your content, sample sites and brand guidelines.
- Day 1: kickoff and layout. We confirm the page list and the free-intro-class flow, then apply the layout template, colors and type.
- Day 2: homepage. We design the homepage with the "Today's classes" card. Photo sourcing starts.
- Day 3: inner pages. We build the Classes, Schedule, Pricing, Coaches and Contact pages.
- Day 4: forms, SEO and schema. The intro class form or booking links, social links, titles, meta descriptions and ExerciseGym schema.
- Day 5: revision round 1. You review a staging link on your phone and computer, including the sticky booking bar, and send feedback. We make the first round of changes.
- Day 6: revision round 2 and setup. Final changes, testing across browsers and devices, then Google Analytics and Google Business Profile setup.
- Day 7: launch. The site goes live, the sitemap is submitted to Google Search Console, and we hand off with a walkthrough of how to update the schedule.
What It's Designed to Drive
- More free intro class bookings. Every page is designed to lead to that one step.
- Less back-and-forth about class times. The schedule is designed to be visible from the homepage.
- Confidence for beginners. Copy and layout are designed to make a first visit feel doable.
- Visibility in neighborhood searches. Standard SEO and the Business Profile are designed to work together. Google says local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence (Google Business Profile Help).
